About Nifty Information Technology LLC

A Dubai IT company that businesses across the UAE rely on for infrastructure, security, cloud and ERP. Vendor-accredited across Microsoft, Fortinet, Veeam, NAKIVO, Huawei, HPE, AWS and Google Cloud — and deliberately built so one partner is accountable for the whole stack instead of four vendors pointing at each other.

Our Story

One Accountable IT Partner for UAE Businesses

Nifty began in Deira in 2014 with one observation about how IT actually fails in the UAE. Most small and mid-sized companies here were not short of vendors. They had one company for cabling, another for laptops, a third for email, a fourth for the firewall — and nobody who would answer for the whole thing when it stopped. Every outage started with an hour of working out whose problem it was.

So we built the alternative: a single UAE-licensed partner accountable for the entire stack, with the vendor accreditations to back it up. Not a broker passing work to subcontractors, and not a reseller front for an offshore team — engineers who hold the certifications, configure the equipment themselves, and are in the country when something breaks at 4pm on a Thursday.

Twelve years on, that is still the whole idea. We have grown almost entirely through clients recommending us to the company next door, which is a slower way to build a business and a considerably better test of whether the work is any good.

What we will not do

  • Sell you capacity you do not need. If your hardware has two good years left, we will say so.
  • Hide the scope. Inclusions and exclusions are written down before you sign, not discovered on an invoice.
  • Lock you in. Your environment is documented and the documentation is yours, whoever supports it next.
  • Take vendor commission over your interest. Where a cheaper licence tier or a different product fits better, that is the recommendation.
  • Subcontract silently. If a specialist third party is involved, you are told who and why.
Accreditations

Our Technology Partners and Vendor Accreditations

Vendor partnership is not a badge for a website footer. It determines whether we can raise a priority support case on your behalf, access firmware and security advisories before they are public, quote at partner pricing, and put engineers through vendor training. These are the programmes we hold.

What Our Engineers Actually Specialise In

Specific platforms, configured by the people who will support them afterwards. If a technology is not on this list, we will tell you rather than learn it on your project.

Fortinet Firewalls & Network Security

FortiGate sizing, deployment, policy design, hardening and ongoing management. Web and application filtering, IPS, SSL inspection where appropriate, guest and staff network segmentation, and FortiAnalyzer reporting so you can see what the firewall is actually doing rather than assuming it works.

FortiGateFortiClientFortiAnalyzerUTM policyVLAN segmentation

VPN & Site-to-Site Solutions

IPsec site-to-site tunnels between branches, warehouses and overseas offices, SSL VPN and FortiClient remote access for staff, and SD-WAN where multiple links need to fail over cleanly. Routing, split tunnelling and MFA on remote access are designed together, because a VPN without identity control is an open door with extra steps.

Synology Storage Solutions

Synology NAS sizing, RAID and volume design, Synology Drive for file services, Active Backup for Business protecting servers, PCs and Microsoft 365, Hyper Backup to a second site or to cloud, snapshot schedules, and permission structures that survive staff turnover.

HPE Server Configuration

HPE ProLiant specification, rack and tower deployment, iLO out-of-band management, Smart Array RAID configuration, firmware and SPP lifecycle, and warranty registration handled by us. Sized to the workload you actually run, with headroom for the next three years rather than the next three months.

VMware Virtualisation

vSphere and ESXi host builds, vCenter management, cluster design with HA and vMotion, datastore and storage planning, P2V and V2V migrations, resource right-sizing, and version upgrade paths planned around licensing rather than discovered after it.

NAKIVO & Veeam Backup Configuration

Backup that is designed against a recovery target, not a storage budget. Job design for VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers and Microsoft 365, retention and GFS policies, immutable or air-gapped copies, offsite replication, and — the part most environments skip — scheduled restore testing with the results written down.

Microsoft 365 & SharePoint

Tenant setup and hardening, mailbox and file migration from on-premise or another provider, SharePoint site architecture and permissions, Teams governance, OneDrive rollout, Entra ID and conditional access, and licence right-sizing at every renewal instead of renewing whatever was bought three years ago.

Microsoft 365SharePoint OnlineTeamsEntra IDConditional AccessMigration

Cloud — Azure, AWS & Google Cloud

Workload placement decided on cost, latency and data-residency grounds rather than habit. Migration and lift-and-shift, hybrid connectivity back to on-premise, backup into cloud, identity integration, and a monthly cost review — because the most common cloud problem in the UAE is not technical, it is a bill nobody reconciles.

ZKTeco Time & Attendance

ZKTeco biometric and card terminals for attendance and door access, multi-site device management, shift and roster rules configured to how your company actually runs, and export or integration into payroll so HR stops rebuilding timesheets in Excel every month.

Odoo ERP Development

Odoo implementation, custom module development, UAE localisation and VAT, and PINT AE e-invoicing integration ahead of the UAE mandate. Accounting, inventory, sales, purchase, manufacturing and CRM configured around your process — with customisation kept upgrade-safe so the next version is a project, not a rebuild.

How We Work

The Six Things Every Nifty Engagement Has in Common

🔍

Assess before quoting

Every engagement starts with a free health check. A quote written from evidence beats one written from assumptions, and you keep the report either way.

📝

Scope in writing

Inclusions, exclusions, response times and AED pricing agreed before work starts. Out-of-scope work is quoted, never assumed.

🔧

Built by the people who support it

The engineer who configures your firewall is the one who takes the call when it misbehaves. No handover gap between project and support.

📂

Documented, always

IP schemes, credentials, licence records, backup jobs and topology written down and handed to you. Your environment should not live in one engineer's memory.

🛡

Recovery tested, not assumed

A backup that has never been restored is a theory. Restore tests are scheduled and the results are reported.

🌐

Compliance designed in

UAE data residency, e-invoicing readiness and retention treated as design requirements at the start, not as a retrofit after an auditor asks.

Milestones

Twelve Years in the UAE Market

2014

Founded in Deira, Dubai

NIFTY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LLC is licensed in Dubai, starting with IT support and hardware supply for SMEs in and around Deira.

Growth years

Infrastructure and network security added

Structured cabling, business Wi-Fi, server and storage deployment, and Fortinet firewall practice built out as clients grew past what consumer-grade equipment could carry.

Cloud era

Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and Google Cloud

Migration practice established as UAE businesses moved email and files off on-premise servers, with backup and identity treated as part of the migration rather than an afterthought.

Data protection

Veeam, NAKIVO and Synology backup practice

Dedicated backup and disaster recovery capability added after too many prospects turned out to have backup jobs that had been failing silently for months.

2026 — now

ERP, compliance and the UAE e-invoicing mandate

Odoo ERP development and PINT AE e-invoicing integration as UAE businesses prepare for the mandate, alongside 500+ companies supported across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Nifty IT

Who is Nifty Information Technology LLC?

Nifty Information Technology LLC is an IT services and infrastructure company licensed in Dubai and operating in the UAE since 2014, with its head office at Burj Nahar Mall, M2 Floor, Office D2-4, Deira. We provide managed IT and AMC contracts, IT support, network security, servers and virtualisation, storage, backup and disaster recovery, cloud, Microsoft 365, IP telephony and Odoo ERP to more than 500 businesses across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Which technology vendors is Nifty IT a partner of?

We hold vendor partner accreditations with Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Azure and SharePoint), Fortinet, Veeam, NAKIVO, Huawei Enterprise and eKit, HPE, AWS and Google Cloud, and we work as a specialist implementer on VMware, Synology, ZKTeco and Odoo. Partnership matters practically rather than decoratively: it gives us priority vendor escalation on your behalf, early access to firmware and security advisories, partner pricing, and engineers trained through the vendor's own programme. We are happy to share current documentation for any accreditation relevant to your project.

Do you configure Fortinet firewalls and site-to-site VPNs?

Yes — it is one of our core specialisations. That covers FortiGate sizing and deployment, firewall policy design and hardening, IPsec site-to-site tunnels between branches or between the UAE and overseas offices, SSL VPN and FortiClient remote access, SD-WAN for multi-link failover, and FortiAnalyzer reporting. We also take over existing FortiGate estates that were deployed by someone else, starting with a configuration and policy review before we change anything.

Can you take over an environment another IT company built?

Yes, and it is how a large share of our clients start. The takeover begins with a documented audit: what is installed, what is licensed, what is patched, what is backed up and what is actually failing. You get that report regardless of whether you proceed. The one thing we ask for is a clean handover of credentials and licence ownership — where the outgoing provider is uncooperative we have rebuilt access from scratch before, but it costs time that a professional handover does not.

Do you supply hardware as well as support it?

Yes. We specify, supply, configure and support HPE ProLiant servers, Synology and Huawei storage, Fortinet firewalls, Huawei and enterprise switching and wireless, ZKTeco attendance terminals, and end-user laptops and workstations. Buying and supporting through the same partner means warranty claims and RMAs are ours to chase rather than yours, and the specification is written against your workload rather than against a distributor's stock.

What size of company do you usually work with?

Most of our clients run between 5 and 250 users across trading, logistics, contracting, retail, healthcare, education and professional services, in both mainland and free-zone structures. Below five users, an ad-hoc or per-hour arrangement usually serves better than a managed contract, and we will say so. Above 250 users, engagements are typically co-managed alongside an in-house IT team rather than fully outsourced.

Do you work with in-house IT teams or replace them?

Both models are common. Co-managed IT lets your internal administrator own the things that need business context while we cover specialist domains — firewalls, virtualisation, backup design, ERP — plus out-of-hours escalation and holiday cover. Fully outsourced suits companies with no internal IT function at all. In either case responsibilities are documented so nothing sits in the gap between the two teams.

Are your engineers certified?

Our engineering team holds vendor certifications across the platforms we deliver, and certification is maintained through the partner programmes rather than left to expire once a badge has been earned. We are glad to confirm the specific certifications relevant to your project before you commit — a reasonable question that too few buyers ask, and one no competent provider should hesitate to answer.

Where is your office and can we visit?

Our head office is Burj Nahar Mall, M2 Floor, Office D2-4, Deira, Dubai. Visitors are welcome by appointment — call 04 355 1136 or WhatsApp 055 125 6266 to arrange a time. For most prospective clients we would rather come to your site, because seeing the server room, the cabling and the switch cabinet tells us more in twenty minutes than an hour in a meeting room.

How do we start working with Nifty IT?

Call or WhatsApp 055 125 6266, phone the office on 04 355 1136, or email [email protected]. We begin with a short discovery call, then a free IT health check on-site or remotely, and you receive a written report of what we found plus a scoped proposal in AED. There is no charge and no commitment up to that point.

Note on accreditations: vendor partner programme names, tiers and benefits are set by each vendor and revised periodically. The partnerships listed on this page are as held at the date of last review. For current status on any specific programme, ask us and we will provide the documentation.
